Easy Sew Robe - Halloween shortcuts

Here we present some shortcuts from our members.

Circle Robe

Here's combination dress or tunic + cloak. You will need to wear wear something underneath as it's a bit open-air at back).

Get a length of material as wide as your outstretched arms hand to hand (60" is good) and twice as long as you are tall. Round off the corners and hem it. cut a hole in the middle for your head. Put it on, and belt the front length of material around yourself--let the back flow. You will need to thread the belt in though the sides.

Or you can cut the hole for your head, and then split it all the way down the front. This is what Gandalf is wearing in TTT.

Or make it in satin, do some fancy decorating with fabric paints, and it could pass for an Elven council robe.
