The New York Show

King Kong in New York is Denham's chance to "make millions".  He creates a stage show for "the 8th wonder of the world" complete with a fake damsel in distress, the great hero in white and threatening natives.

The stage show natives are a homage to the 1933 version of the Skull Island natives.

A whole cast of character have been assembled in an almost vaudeville style to recreate the wild scenes of the 1933 version.  In only minutes the whole sacrifice of Ann is presented.  Natives dance in a circle, apes threaten and the hero does the two-step with a fetching native girl wearing only bits more than coconuts.
