wonders of the Elven folks.

I made the dress out of a navy moleskin fabric. The dress started
out as a blouse pattern, which, somewhere along the way, transformed
into Arwen's bodice. The trim was dewired, hand embroidered, and hand
beaded before being applied to the dress. There is a detailed account
of the construction on my webpage.

The dress is made in stretch velvet, from a modified Simplicity 9103,
the sleeves and neckline being the bits changed. There is a full
description of my experience making the dress on my website.
