Council Velvets

Andy - Ohio, USA
The undertunic is made from a black material (JoAnn Fabrics) with small iridescent diamond shapes on it.  It was the closest thing we could find to the original.  The overtunic fabric is a grey stretch velvet we ordered online.  This was Andy's first sewing project ever, and he did a great job.  He still wants to add the detailing to the neckline, but had to have something finished for Trilogy Tuesday.

The wig was purchased locally, and was a "hippie wig" we gave an Aragorn haircut to.

Nicolas to Legolas

Nicolas - Greece

by George and friends

It helps if you look like a movie character... it encourages friends to make you an outfit.  Click the pic for more pictures and details.

Legolas and Aragorn

Models: son Will (7) and his friend Zach

Zelda

The costumes were put together with children in mind.  The cuffs were the hardest thing to sort out.  (They are made with some foam, eyelets and generous amounts of ribbon to hold them in place).

They went into school and Legolas came first place and Aragorn second!  The school was holding a Book Week Competition.

If you do not have a web site or a photo album, we can put the pictures our our server...  Contact us at scrapbook@alleycatscratch.com
