Removing Eyebrows

Sometimes you need to change the shape of a brow enough that you must hide your natural eyebrows.  Or, if you're doing Grimi, you need to hide them completely.

Soaping

Soaping is easy. All your do is wet a bar of soap and rub it across your eyebrows in the direction the hair grows until your eyebrows are flat. And don't worry, it'll be dry! Just cover in foundation and powder etc and you should be fine.

Derma Wax

Another way to remove eyebrows is with Derma wax. (Available from most makeup stores.) You smear it on your eyebrows then powder it heavily. If you have really heavy eyebrows then you repeat the procedure. Once your eyebrows have "vanished" you then put foundation on then powder.

By the by, Derma wax is what morticians use to make people look good for funerals.

Nose and Scar Wax

Another way that I found to do it (though maybe a bit messier to remove) is using "nose and scar wax". (I got a 1oz "tin" for 4.50$CDN - enough to make lil devil horns for about 4-6 people) Its the same stuff you can use to make little devil horns, scars, alien forehead ridges (I had some fun making the 'vampire' forehead ridges a la Buffy).

Basically you take a small amount, smear it over your brow, sealant, and then can draw on new brows. It's ~Flesh tone~ which means while it blends well.. you still need make up over top to match your own skin tone. It is also totally reuseable - though you probably wouldn't want to if it had your hair in it.. ew.

Reason I say messier, is because removing it... it might still stick in your hair. I know with the horns it stuck in my hairline a bit... though a bit of moisturizer and care.. and it came out damage-free.

Nose Putty

Powder your eyebrow area first, then apply a super thin layer of nose putty. Layer  an equally thin layer of spirit gum. Wait til it dries then powder. Apply makeup over.
