Faramir's Coronation Tunic

The T Tunic under Faramir's armor and his mantle have different trims.  Both have large blooms on them embroidered in massive amounts of gold bullion.

T-tunic

The T-tunic has a high collar that flares out above his armor.  It is calf late and split front and back all the way up to his breast plate.  The2" wide trim is attached to both the edges of the neck and the center front.

The trim is a combination of iridescent navy beads and gold bullion.  The Pattern of a large headed flower on a stem with leaves repeats about 4" inches, with the flower alternating directions.  The background is almost solid seed beads.

It is interesting to note that while the pattern reverses every other time, the flowers are not even or evenly place.  This is definitely hand created.

We now have a confirmation picture that shows that the quilted sleeves are sewn to the T-tunic. In "real life" they would  probably be separate or belong to an under tunic.

Quilted and Jeweled Sleeves

Royal blue sleeves are quilted with twp rows of gold thread.  Each intersection has a large cupped sequin and ruby stone. (Or, at least it look like that.  Anyone confirm?)

The edge if the cuff is open about 2".  The wrist and the opening are edged in gold cord couched down.

Note that cuff is open about two inches and edges in gold piping
