Faramir Coronation Outfit

I just bought a sewing machine and have no experience at all with it, although I managed to learn quite a bit in a short time. He is my attempt to make Faramir's coronation costume. I will also try to make the chestplate armor that goes on top, that is why I added the tree to the tunic and (it won't be seen under the armour) SO far I made the tunic and the quilted sleeves are in progress... here are some pics to show you. I used royal blue velvet for the tunic and royal blue pane (20% wool, 80% rayon) I made the lines qird gold thread and hand sewed the beads. I will be adding more pics and comments as I progress on the making of this costume... not too bad for an amateur, huh? This is the living proof that anybody can do this.
