The pin on the coat was made by me from a necklace I found locally...tore up the necklace for the amulet, and hot-glued a brooch pin to the back.

The sword was just for fun...a cheap locally bought toy

Dernhelm

Leigh

This is a costume that I put together two weeks before Halloween, so it's not the best but I'm still working on it.

The helmet is made from an old base-ball cap that I cut the bill off and covered in many layers of paper mache, then painted with (of all things) fabric paint. The ridge down the middle of the helmet is Sculpey.

The vest is made from upholstery fabric; I started out using a patten but ditched it and just went by the pictures that I could find.

The cape is a heavy cotton blend that I found in my Mom's sewing room and just pinned it in place.
Although I am making chain mail I couldn't finish it in time for Halloween so I just used a metallic looking fabric.
