Princess Arleea

I was in a French Renaissance faire and was an elf princess. I have made a few other costumes before but this is my best. For the dress pattern I used McCall's 4340. I changed the sleeves and used the pattern, Butterick 3552 dress b. (for the sleeves) And for my cloak I used Simplicity 5794, cloak b. All the fabric I used was my grandmothers and I do not know the names of them. But the outside of my cloak is crinkle upholstery fabric. The cloak is reversible. It is golden-orange on the outside and light brown on the inside. The dress is made of 2 pieces. The bodice is deep purple. It is tippled so I didn’t have to use boning. It laces up the back. The under lavender dress laces up the back. All in all the dress was simple to make. The cloak took the longest. The entire costume took me about a month to make.
