A Blue Elven Dress

My costume is blue/with gold embroidery and has white accents. Unfortunately the embroidery doesn't show well in the photos, I hope to get some better shots at some point. The white sleeves are attached to the blue dress, but I did make a complete white slip that shows through slits at the hem. The belt is embroidered velvet. I soldered the crown, which is loosely based off of Elrond's. The crown, belt buckle and shoes are all painted gold.

It's not any dress in particular, more in the style of.   I used  to sew a lot but haven't in about 4 years. So I've got a laundry list of things I'm not sure about and re-did everything about six times. I didn't have much in the way of a pattern. I used the bodice front and back from simplicity 9125. I originally intended just to use the pattern, but threw out everything but the bodice and made my own patterns.
