I have never done a LOTR costume before and cant really sew
so I wanted to find something that I could put together. I am naturally
short and have curly hair so I decided to be a hobbit.
For the outfit I took some brown pants, a white shirt I
borrowed from my dad, a green vest from my grandmother, and a brown jacket
from good old goodwill.
For accessories I had the Ring (of course) on a chain,
hairy feet (by using my own hair and spirit gum), and made a glowing Phial
of Galadriel by taking a glass bottle from the Dollar Store and pouring
two large white glow sticks into it.
I got many compliments and even won third place in a
homeschool costume contest!
