Pershing Square is a unique outdoor city scape venue offering the Los Angeles
community free recreation programs. The 2010 season of Friday Night Fright
Flicks presents a variety of family films including movie classics, musicals,
sci-fi and adventure.
The Friday Night Fright Flicks program is presented on a 40 x 20 foot outdoor
screen, complimented with a professional sound system. Movies are free with lawn

Is the Alex Haunted? The Alex Film Society in Glendale is screening the Abbott and Costello classic comedy Hold That Ghost. One of Bud and Lou's best, Hold That Ghost finds the team as gas station attendants who inherit a haunted tavern, where they (along with several travelers) spend a hilariously spooky night complete with murder, dead bodies, and a mysterious moving candle!!

Hollywood MobMov to give you a spook every Friday till Halloween. It’s simple:
You park and tune in to a small-range radio signal, and you’re all set! All
screenings begin at 9 p.m. in our parking lot. Screenings also will occur in the

The Nuart Theatre hosts a special screening for our Friday Midnight show on Halloween. The German Expressionist silent film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, will be performed by DJ/Artist BonJon presenting an original electronic score in Dolby 5.1 surround sound.
