Halloween has been a kid's event in the US for more than a century, but the adults have been reclaiming it.   This section will have a mix of special kids Halloween events.  These won't be toned-down, but kid centric.  The emphasis is on fun in costumes and imagination, not scare.

Kids Imagination Fun

Toluca Lake Halloween Stuntacular

Stuntacular is a theme park caliber live-action stunt entertainment show with over 50 professional stunt men and women thrill, chill and take a spill for the delight of local families and for the benefit of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.  The 25 minute live-action stunt show, which will run approximately four times over the course of the evening, is a full-scale production with lights, music and costumes.  The plot is kid-friendly and fun for all ages, featuring memorable characters and superheroes from movies, television and comic books.

A local Make-A-Wish child will also be featured in each performance and will have an opportunity to rehearse with the cast and play a very special role.

Stuntacular is  a “comedic stunty spoof” of kids’ favorite characters of past years.  The audience will enjoy “tricks and treats” such as High Falls, Martial Art Stunt Fighting, Theatrical Sword Fighting, Slides for Life, Repels, Ratchets (where a person gets jerked back by a wire) and air rams (a catapult system based on compressed air).

This year, Stuntacular has teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles to make the show “for kids to help kids.”  As an extra special “treat” for the children, each Stuntacular performance will feature a Make-A-Wish child, allowing them the chance to perform on stage with the stunt professionals.
