Historical Dances and Traditional
Autumn Events
Looking for a slower, more elegant autumn celebration? Just look back into
history.
If you want to go out dancing in Los Angeles this Halloween season, there's a lot more out there that
modern
clubs. The events listed here give you a chance to slow down in a more
intimate environment... and let
you step back into history.
Do you want to waltz? Do the Lindy? Try this section for costumed fun.
There are even more events with a historic flavor on our
Festival Page
Please pay attention to the costume requirements here, especially for the
dances.

The stars are
waiting for you on this tour of one of Old Hollywood’s most
sought after "afterworld" addresses. This gorgeous old site is the final
resting place for a pantheon of performers, including Rudolph Valentino,
Douglas Fairbanks, Barbara LaMarr, C.B. De Mille,—and other high-flying
Angelenos—and as the elegant (and eclectic) collection of monuments and
mausoleums attest, our forefathers died as stylishly as they lived.
