Dream Halloween, Los Angeles - Fundraiser for CAAF

Major fund raising party for the Children Affected by Aids Foundation.   Hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis, event co-chairs Bob Eckert & Jerry Starch.  Big stars get together at this annual event at Barker Hanger at the Santa Monica Airport to create a party for the kids and raise major money.  (Note ticket prices below before you jump in the car to go... but it's a very good cause, and where else do you get to meet this many celebrities?)

"Witches and wizards and goblins and ghosts. Batman™ and Barbie® and celebrity hosts. Trick-or-treating, sundae-eating, doesn't it sound grand? Paint your face and have a taste of food from every land! Center stage is all the rage with song and dance and fun. One-of-a-kind dolls, line the walls, there's something for everyone"

Halloween Horrors Crime Bus Tour

"Not your ordinary tour bus company. Routes veer off into fascinating, neglected neighborhoods. ... Tour themes are provocative and complex, but never dry, mixing crime and social history, rock and roll and architecture, literature and film, fine art and urban studies into a simmering stew of original research and startling observations."

Find out bizarre and fascinating info on Los Angeles History in this collection of bus and walking tours.  Haunting highlights listed below, see their website for more tours and details.

"Late October is a special time of the year, when kids are banned from the Crime Bus and we share our most grisly criminal discoveries from the archives. You'll hear tales of murder most foul and hideous, see vintage crime scene photos and frolic with Crimebo the clown."
