Planes - Airport Fundraiser

Fundraiser for CAAF
Major fund raising party for the Children Affected by Aids Foundation.
Hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis, event co-chairs Bob Eckert & Jerry Starch. Big stars get together at
this annual event at Barker Hanger at the Santa Monica Airport to create a
party for the kids and raise major money. (note ticket prices below
before you jump in the car to go... but it's a very good cause, and where
else do you get to meet this many celebrities?)
"Witches and wizards and goblins and ghosts. Batman™ and Barbie® and
celebrity hosts. Trick-or-treating, sundae-eating, doesn't it sound grand?
Paint your face and have a taste of food from every land! Center stage is
all the rage with song and dance and fun. One-of-a-kind dolls, line the

Trains - Haunts & Festivals
Playful Spooks invade the mini-trains ( 1/8 scale) at Griffith Park.
Evening rides feature 30 display around the track. Come ride a train!
The Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum has been demonstrates
railroads in miniature, 3 different gages, for almost 50 Years. It has
been haunting since 2001. Checkout

Ride a vintage train to their pumpkin patch. Children's museum,
jumps, carousel, hay maze, arts and crafts, food and fun. See
the home of the Hollywood Trains! There are 3 different themed events,

"Bugle Boy Murders of Company C" - Go back to 1942. Murder, mystery
and intrigue fill the air as the train makes a pit stop to murder.
This interactive murder mystery is filled with audience participations -- so
get out your old uniforms and period costumes to come join the fun --
wouldn't want this murder to take off with out you!

Enjoy an evening train ride with a 3 course dinner and less-than-serious
sleuthing. Join in or sit back and watch.

Their miniature train circles
the pumpkin patch giving you a perfect chance to scope out the whole field.
There are train rides, pony rides, John Deer Gator Racers, moonbouce, haystacks, good "county fair" food and on
the weekend face painting and carnival games. Haunted House and hay
maze. The Orange
County Zoo is just minutes away for a combined experience.
Also, there's a costume contest on the final Saturday .

Trick or Treat Festival and Halloween Hearse Procession
The Orange County Market
place presents their annual Halloween Procession and Show along with their Trick
or Treat Festival. Dr. Demento as
Grand Marshal, w/ Count Smokula. Farmer Mike & his pumpkins, Gothic
Parodies and poetry by the League of Vampiric Bards. Free Trick or
Treating for the kids, face painting, Goldilocks and the Three Buccaneers puppet
show, strolling entertainers mixed in with the
swap meet vendors, artisans and crafters. Giant Pumpkin Carving all day.
??? Procession is open to all hearses, ambulances, flower cars and any
funeral going vehicle. Free entry. RSVP by Oct 8 to participate.

The "Tragical

Extras Wheeling Events
Everyone is
welcome to participate in this unique, one-of-a-kind family fun
competition.
Build
your own Pumpkin RaceCar and enter the Pumpkin Race for free! Or,
pickup a pre-carved pumpkin and Pumpkin RaceCar Kit at the event for a $20
dollar donation. Pumpkin RaceCar Kits and entry into the race are on a
first come, first served basis. If plan to enter the race, arrive at
1:00pm and
register your Pumpkin Race Car to secure your spot. Pumpkin Pit
Row contains all of the necessary tools, accessories, and expert assistance
(and encouragement!) to build a Pumpkin RaceCar. Stock items include
wheels, axels, tools, hardware accessories and assorted decoration options.
Activity booths, fun and excitement for the entire family will be open
from 1:00pm – 6:30pm. Tour the display of competitors, or watch the
"cheaters" be smashed to pie with a large mallet. Since 1990.

Los Angeles's only all
ages Goth / Industrial / EBM / Darkwave / Alternate monthly roller-skating
event. It's a dead man's skate. Be sure to prep those chainsaws
and polish your broomsticks, because we expect everyone to come as either a
Zombie or a Zombie Hunter. Dress up and
come skate.

Annual Haunted Skate Contest (Laguna Niguel)
Costumed skate.
Rolling chills. Competitions will be all day with prizes for first,
second and third in each division, plus giveaways throughout the day. Points
awarded for costumed contestants. Get there early as space is limited.
Registration begins at 9:00 am Haunting since 2003.
